Full Focus Planner® | A planner by Michael Hyatt
If you find yourself wrangling a to-do list that feels a million miles long or you commonly find yourself thinking, “I barely stopped to breathe today, yet it feels like nothing got done,” you’re a perfect fit for the Full Focus Planner.
Based on the teachings he shares in his latest book, Free to Focus, Michael Hyatt initially designed this planner for himself and now has turned it into a full-fledged system meant to help high achievers reach their goals in record time.
Wow-worthy: Broken down into a system that helps you to lay out your annual goals, followed by weekly objectives, and daily action, this planner is solidly focused on helping you make progress each and every day so that you can look back on your weeks, months, and year and see how far you’ve come. No more spinning your wheels trying to gain traction, this planner is designed to get you moving the needle.
Considerations: While this planner does put your annual goals into perspective, the planner itself is broken down into quarters, which means you’ll need four planners for the year if you plan to follow the system throughout the entire year. Thankfully, if you purchase your yearly planners in a bundle, you’ll get one for free.
Price: Single Planner - $39.99 | Annual Subscription - $125.00 - Get $10 Off your Full Focus Planner with our link!
Best Self’s Self Planner

With an emphasis on achieving work-life harmony (can we get an “amen!”), Your Self Planner includes a powerful benchmark tool that helps you to own your success in each area of your life so you can see where you’re doing well, and which areas need improvement, so you can utilize your Self Planner to adjust in the areas you need.

Considerations: The Self Planner is a six-month planner, so you’ll need two for the year, and it comes undated, which can be beneficial if you don’t want to wait ‘til January to get started, however, it also adds a small additional step to your planning process.
Price: $19.99 for one planner, $17.99 if you subscribe to receive a new planner every 5 months
Emily Ley’s Simplified Planner
Born out of a need to keep her life as a busy wife, mom, and working woman in order, Emily Ley created the intentionally minimalistic Simplified Planner to well, simply life!
With colorful printed covers and crisp white pages just waiting to be filled, the Simplified Planner is a blank slate waiting to hold your most important meetings, nightly meal plans, and memories.
Wow-worthy: With daily and weekly options, there’s a layout to fit anyone’s planning style, but the couple of extra elements we really adore include the cute and whimsical stickers and Emily’s simplicity tips sprinkled throughout the monthly pages.
Considerations: True to its name, the Simplified Planner doesn’t come with a ton of extra planning bells and whistles which makes it a good fit for anyone who has their processes set and simply needs a place to plan rather than those who need a systematized process built into their planner.
Best Planners for Solopreneurs - Goal-Setting Planners
It’s tough to put into words exactly what Powersheets are because they’re it’s so much more than a goal planner.
Powersheets start with a deep dive on exactly what you want out of your life for the year ahead in all aspects: work, family, relationships, faith, community, no element of life is off limits because this planner is all about visioning and working toward creating the life of your dreams.
Wow-worthy: This goal-setting planner dives deep and asks you to be real with where you are and what you want out of life, but, if you follow the process, Powersheets can be truly transformative.
Considerations: Powersheets does have a monthly calendar grid sheet, but this planner is focused primarily on goal-planning, so if you need more room for to-dos related to appointments, calls, deadlines, etc, you’ll likely need an additional planner or to rely on your Google Cal for those events.
90X Goal Planner
If the idea of mapping out long-range or year goals feels like biting off more than you can chew, the 90X Goal Planner is going to become your new planning companion. Whether you’re looking to conquer goals for your health, business, or personal life, the 90X Goal Planner is all about helping you crush goals quickly by using their daily, weekly and monthly tracking system.
Wow-worthy: In addition to the quarterly goal setting framework, the 90X Goal Planner also features a scientific approach using five separate sections based on the laws of attraction with a proven step-by-step formula to help you reach your vision of success. For those who are into manifesting their goals or want to learn more about it, this planner uniquely addresses the vital mindset element of business.
Considerations: The 90X Planner is undated which allows you to start whenever your heart desires, but also adds an extra step to your planning process. And, as the name would suggest, if you want to follow the 90X system for the full year, you’ll need four planners, however there is a quarterly subscription option.
Panda Planner® Venture
Another quarterly option with room to plan for the next 90 days, the Panda Planner Venture differs greatly from other quarterly planners like the Full Focus Planner or the 90X Goal Planner in that it allows for monthly, weekly, and daily planning and provides quarterly reviews in addition to another section specifically for business planning and goal-setting (with an emphasis on core values, which we love).
Wow-worthy: Beyond all of what comes inside the Panda Planner Venture, with your planner purchase, you’ll also receive:
- Exercises based on business best practices and neuroscience to take your company — and productivity — to the next level
- Additional resources such as eBooks on topics like "How to Crush Your Goals", "How to Cure Procrastination", and “How to Get Back on Track When You Fall Off Course”
- Plus, a video mini-course on how to skyrocket your productivity
Considerations: Although we love the morning review and end-of-day review features, if you’re a fan of a more minimalistic quarterly planning system, you may not find yourself using all this planner has to offer.
Price: $28.97 (with options to save when bundling your purchase)
Best Planners for Solopreneurs - Business-Minded Planners
The Content Planner
Just because your content is digitally-based doesn’t mean you’re planning has to be. With The Content Planner, creator, Kat Gaskin’s goal is to help you plan it, post it, profit.
Whether you’re blogging, podcasting, YouTube-ing (yes, it’s a verb), consider The Content Planner your go-to organizer for all your online content publishing, sharing, repurposing needs!
Wow-worthy: Along with customized content stickers to help you plan, The Content Planner also features areas to track your content-related and social media stats, important hashtags, collaborative opportunities and tips to help you create killer content for your brand.
Considerations: This planner is on the larger side, which makes it a friendly (and beautiful) addition to your desk, but if you find yourself parked out in a cafe or coffee shop for a long work stretch, it may take up a considerable amount of table real estate.
The Solopreneur Business Planner by The Pink Ink
Okay, okay...we know we mentioned pen and paper planners at the beginning of this post, but this digital planner specifically crafted for solopreneur business owners was too good to overlook.
Based on the creator’s own experience in building a business solo, the Solopreneur Business Planner is divided into five major sections to help you in every stage of your online business (service- or product-based) including business set-up, plan, create, promote, evaluate, and scale.
Wow-worthy: In addition to being solopreneur-minded, this planner comes with 70+ templates so you can truly customize it to fit your precise planning needs. Not to mention, this planner won’t expire after a quarter or a year, this can truly become the foundational piece that serves as your business' manual, so to speak.
Considerations: If you really need that pen and paper aspect, this planner can still work for you as it comes in a printable PDF file, but you won’t be able to benefit from it’s clickable and searchable features.
Clever Fox Budget Planner
Whether you’re looking to simply spend wisely, start saving, hit a big financial goal, or crush debt, the Clever Fox Budget Planner is the tool to help turn you into the master of your personal finances.
Wow-worthy: Don’t be fooled thinking this is only a spreadsheet in disguise as a planner, The Clever Fox Budget Planner also contains tools to help you actualize your financial goals by creating a mind map, a strategic plan and giving you the framework to map out your tactics for taking action to make your financial goals a reality. (Also, there’s a Christmas spending planner...you may not think you need it, but trust us, you won’t be able to live without it after using it!)
Considerations: It goes without saying, but because this is a paper planner, you’ll need to do a little math on your own, however, the act of filling out the tables and trackers in this planner is part of the process that makes paying down debt or ridding yourself of bad spending habits that much more effective. Something about physically notating the financial progress you’re making really provides a feeling of confidence that leads to long-term habits and routines.

I’m intrigued by the Self Planner!
Yes! Honestly, it was so hard to narrow down their planners into a top pick, they also have awesome Project Pads!
I’m definitely a fan of Powersheets but the Simplied Planner and 90x Goal planner look interesting as well.
If you’ve got something that works well for you, but all means no need to fix what’s not broken! From experience, I can say the Simplified Planner pairs very nicely with Powersheets!
The Powersheets look so good!!!!
They are! I’m on my fifth set and they just get better every year with the updates Lara and her team make!

I like the Emily Ley Simplified Planner. I have never used a planner before so this looks like a good one to start with. It would be nice to have my appointments, to do list, and goals all in one place instead of scrap pieces of paper all over the house.
I like the goal setting planner!
I really like the Powersheets. 🙂

I used an Inkwell Press planner this year and really enjoyed it, but I’d love to try the Clever Fox.
The budget fox planner would be great! I hadn’t thought about a planner that is specifically for bills and other finances.
