In the words of Kendra:

Meet Morgan of A Little Creative. We accidentally came across her work on Pinterest and knew we had to profile her in our Designer Profile series.

When asked to describe her work, Morgan says it’s “clean, energetic and slightly feminine.”

She offers a little bit of everything to her clients, but her foundation is in print and branding. She has begun to dabble in web design recently and she coordinates with web developers to put her designs into coding. She says that she can make it look pretty, but relies on others to make it work!

In Morgan’s words:

My client focus is on small businesses who are committed to improving the lives of others. Whether they be for-profit or non-profit, we share a similar environmental and social awareness and are out to make the most of this big journey we call life. I aim to be more than just their designer, and I make an investment in them the way they do with their clients, riding the roller coaster, sharing knowledge, supporting them and acting on their behalf as their brand advocate. I treat my clients like I do my personal relationships; I’m very responsive, open to discussion and incredibly honest and am more interested in creating deep, meaningful, long-term relationships as opposed to just making a sale.

And a fun fact about Morgan: She used to be a scientist and almost went to zookeeper school!

katie durski kd creative In her words:

My goal is to empower women business owners to reach for their dreams by creating innovative brands and products that inspire confidence. I pride myself in bringing clean, fresh ideas to the table in collaboration with my clients. I LOVE working with creative pros and am so grateful to be able to help small businesses and at the same time get to do what I love.

She adds:

I am reliable, quick at responding to emails and calls, and have developed a consistent system of developing brands that has worked with every client I have had. Most importantly, I don’t just create pretty things. I get to the core of my clients’ businesses and find out why they do what they do and how they want to represent their company to the world. Once we discover that, we develop the visuals and not the other way around.

And a fun fact about Katie: She’s obsessed with Disney World- she went all the time as a kid and even went there for her honeymoon. Another fun fact? She did the website for Clarity on Fire (seen above on the left)!

Think: eye-catching, sleek designs, fun functionalities, and social media integration. If you’re in need of a new website, blog, or other graphic design collateral, take note of these creative superstars!

Meet Kate Baird of Katelyn Brooke Designs. When asked to describe her work in three words, Kate said it’s “clean, classic, and laid-back. And sometimes a little preppy or ladylike (is that cheating?).”

In the words of Kate:

I work to create beautiful WordPress websites, mostly for creative women. Sometimes I do the whole thing from start to finish, including branding strategies and helping extend my client’s brand out to their social media profiles, and other times I’m taking another designer’s vision and developing it into a functional site. Variety is one of the reasons that I love what I do!

I’m a perfectionist. I want to design each project as thoroughly as possible, which means that I work really hard to make sure that the client’s style is being accurately portrayed in each project. I also want to make sure that each project I work on is sustainable for the client, so I love to help clients learn how to work and update their site.

And a fun fact about Kate: she was an architecture major in college! She uses a lot of what she learned every day as a web designer.
